Resources for CT@TP
Computational Thinking at Torrey Pines High School

Are you eager to get started on your own? Do you want to learn more beyond what we do in the workshops? Check out the resources below to learn more about Computational Thinking and the Wolfram Language.

An Elementary Introduction to the Wolfram Language (EIWL)

Read about the Wolfram Language from the creator of the Wolfram Language: Stephen Wolfram. This introductory book breaks down basic elements of the language and gives a broad variety of examples of what the Wolfram Language can do. Each chapter has exercises to practice skills learned in the chapter. No prior programming experience necessary!

The book is available to read for free online or as a collection of downloadable Mathematica notebooks.

Wolfram Programming Lab and Wolfram U

Online Wolfram Language activities in the Wolfram Cloud working environment. The Programming Lab has several short introductory explorations to try and play with. Wolfram U is more extensive and contains video tutorials on a wide range of topics.
